OBJECTIVES:
To ensure guest safety and prevent any form of accident. Sell the appropriate vehicles to our guest and make them aware of all the risk and cost.
PROCEDURES
1. First step is to recognize the kind of the guest:
o Young couple
o Young guys/ girls
o Families
o Old couple
2. Suggest to the family and old couple to rent a car instead the scooter. Mention the high risk of accidents and the cost of a small scratch.
3. Inform the guest about the roads conditions such as water, sand, dog and cats, holes other drivers.
4. To all guest ask if they have already ridden a scooter, if not offer them a short riding lesson.
5. Tell to all drivers suggest to drive slowly and with prudence at least 3 time during the process.
6. Acknowledge the guest about the terms and conditions and very important that this service is an out service. The contract is made between the guest and the rental operator.
7. Assist the guest with filling the contract, make sure that every single scratch is in it
8. Copy the SIGNED contract for guest reference.
9. It is strictly forbidden to keep guest passport at the reception.
o Is not legal
o By keeping the passport we automatically are the guarantor for the guest
o In case of accident the resort is directly involved and responsible
10. Inform the guest where they can fill the gasoline
11. In case of accident:
o If is a small scratch offer the guest first aid and a soft drink (free of charge), cleaning and bandage. Ask the guest to come back for a second aid.
o If it is serious ask the guest to go the hospital and organize a taxi for them
o Only later when guest are relaxed check the scooter
o Never laugh in front of the guest while speaking with the rental operator
