Samples of the permeates obtained from the ultrafiltration of mixtures produced from vegetable oils are shown in Fig. 5. As
these samples passed through the refining process that removed substances providing color to the oil, the permeates obtained from the mixtures produced from refined oils exhibited a lighter color compared to permeates of degummed soybean and crude canola oils. In addition, it is possible to identify the dispersed phase in the permeate of refined oils, in which the separation was not efficient.
