our partner in eastern Myanmar is already beginning to provide advice and technical assistance to other ethnic education actors working elsewhere in Myanmar. We envisage that this project will help document KTWG’s existing practices and identify the challenges and opportunities for rapid scale up of their interventions for sharing with relevant stakeholders. Our theory of change assumes that state efforts to grow educational provision in Myanmar will be most successful if they recognise and work with existing ethnic-led providers. We consequently want to help generate a stronger evidence base for the effectiveness of existing approaches, which this project will make an important contribution to.
