The organic solvent extract containing diesel was subjected to
gas phase chromatography analysis equipped with a flame ionization
detector and 60 m fused silica capillary column. The injector
and detector temperatures were both set at 320 C with 5 mL min1
of hydrogen as the carrier gas. The column temperature was
initially set at 100 C then raised to 320 C at the rate of 5 C/min
and finally set at 320 C for 10 min.
