In survey research, it is important in designing a questionnaire is what you want to ask, should adhere to the purpose of what you want to study. A standardized questionnaire was officially used in the survey were used to collect data from individuals about themselves or as a unit of society. Questionnaire said it was the standard when each. The answer is to experience the same question and the same system of response encoding. The aim here is to try to ensure that the difference in the response to the question that can be interpreted as reflecting the difference between the respondents more than the difference in the production process that answer produce an answer(Ross, K.N., 2005). A questionnaire is written in many different ways to use it in a very different situation and the information are very different(Brace, I. 2004). There are 2 mains of the objectives for the purpose of designing a questionnaire. The first is to increase the proportion of samples in our questionnaire, and the second is to get the correct information related to our survey(Leung, W.C., 2001).
Scheuren(2004) suggest the questionnaire design should take into consideration things like this:
1. How will explore is the process of exploring how to use the query methods, such as online , face to face or etc.
2. The period to be used to ask a question. Do not use the time too long. It made the respondents bored
3. The structure of the questionnaire should be designed in such a way, a questionnaire rating scale, the open-ended questions, etc.
4. The format of the questionnaire design should allow the respondent to understand and be able to answer the most simple.
