Pilot Tackles Drunk Passenger
PLANE STUPID ‘Drunk’ passenger dragged off flight from London by mask-wearing armed cops after his aggressive behaviour forced pilot to make an emergency landing
1. If a customer appears to become intoxicated during the flight, the Flight Attendant should notify the Captain.
2. The Flight Attendant should closely supervise the crew and tells the crew to drink water a lot and urinate frequently to reduce intoxicated.
3. All employees should be as tactful and discreet as possible when dealing with a customer who appears to be intoxicated.
4. Conversation in the presence of others should be held to a minimum.
5. The senior cabin attendant shall in form the pilot-in-command immediately.
6. The pilot-in-command may, when necessary, take such measures as restraint or removal of the passenger concerned. In this case, the pilot-in-command shall try to obtain a third party witness. When a physician is available, the pilot-in-command shall arrange to obtain a medical report.
7. Upon landing, the pilot should complete submit a captain's report.
