This chapter starts with a general overview on inkjet printing technology, which is one of the main technologies in the field of polymer deposition. Subsequently, the different inkjet printing techniques are described and compared. The discussion is focused on the fundamental physical and chemical characteristics involved in polymer inkjet printing such as viscosity, surface tension, solubility, particle size, polymer structure, molecular weight, solvent, and ink concentration. Toward the end of this chapter, behavior of ink droplets on the substrate and the application of polymer inkjet printing method are described.
