different countries have different ways to find justice for its people. More than a thousand years ago. people in Europe had trial by combat. The man who won showed his innocence. Now the British have jury trials. Twelve people sit on the jury. After the trial, the jury must think and then decide about innocence. Thailand and many other countries have no juries. A judge,or sometimes two or three judges, decide about innocence. But in Thailand and most other countries,if someone does not like how a judge or a jury decides, has can ask a higher judge to think about the trial. Sometimes the higher judges will decide different y. For Thai people, the King is the highest judge of innocence.
