other varieties, the extent of decrease was 6e12%. The soluble fiber
in the non-pigmented brown rice remained same, 0.75 0.05 g/
100 g after parboiling. In the case of Aishwarya, the soluble fiber
content was high by 0.1%, which may be because of change in the
degree of polish in parboiled rice under similar conditions of
milling.
