Read the following passage and answer the questions
In 1977, Arnold met news reporter Maria Shriver at a tennis match. After dating for many years they married in 1886. Their marriage was considered a somewhat bizarre match because Maria is a member of the Kennedy family, perhaps the most prominent family among the Democrats, while Arnold is a firm Republican. It was also embarrassing for the Kennedy family that Arnold’s father had fought for Nazi Germany. In spite of Maria’s family doubts, her marriage to Arnold was lasting, and in 1989 Maria gave birth to the first of their four children.
