Travel alert – Update
SNC-Lavalin has decided to lift the Travel Ban in effect. Any employee travelling to, or working in, Paris, should take the following precautions :
Contact your manager immediately, if you have not already done so, to confirm your whereabouts
If you are unable to contact your manager, you can contact Global Security at the following email address: globalsecurity@snclavalin.com or by calling +1-514-954-9771.
Anticipate increased security and expect delays at security checkpoints.
If you are departing Paris, plan for one (1) to 1.5 hours delay(s) at airport security checks before your departure
Monitor local news for any changes in the security situation
Comply with all instructions from the French government, police and military
Remain vigilant, patient, calm, and cooperative
All employees traveling to or working in Paris should be aware of the following :
Movement within Paris has returned to normal except in the vicinities of where the attacks took place
Expect an increased presence of heavily armed police and military. Do not be alarmed by this.
All public parks in Paris remain closed
Follow instructions by Police or Public Safety Officials regarding gatherings in public places
