The results
of this study should encourage management to assess
current competitive strengths on various criteria and
to explicitly contrast and compare the current situation with specific gains and losses if it migrates in the family business space.
Furthermore, it would be interesting to find out how companies compensate possible weaknesses and magnify natural strengths.
Finally, we recognize that we have only touched the surface of the dynamics in the family/business space and we see it as an important area in general for future research.
