Physical properties of different denim fabrics produced from cotton and bamboo polyester blended yarns were discussed. Yarns of 7 and 10 Ne of 100% cotton and 75:25 bamboo polyester blended yarns were used for these denim fabric samples. Yarns of 7 and 10 Ne of 100% cotton and bamboo polyester (B/P) blend were tested for physical properties such as Strength, Elongation, Unevenness and Hairiness etc, and factors affecting physical properties denim fabrics were studied. It was found that, Strength of B/P blended yarn is greater than cotton yarn in both counts. B/P blended yarns are more uniform thancotton yarns. But, B/P blended yarns are found more hairy than cotton yarns. C.S.P. of B/P blended yarn is also higher than cotton yarns. Breaking Strength (weft way) of B/P fabrics is 93% higher than cotton fabrics. B/P blended fabrics are stronger than cottonfabrics. Breaking Strength (warp way) of B/P fabric is 5% higher than 100% cotton fabric. Elongation% (weft way) of B/P fabrics in both count is greater than cotton fabrics. Tearing strength (warp way) is excellent for all fabric samples.
