In this study, we want to examine the relative contribution of
safety attitude, safety norm, sensation seeking, and type A personality
to explain students’ reading safety instructions and their
following of safety instructions. Based on this evidence, it will be
possible to formulate recommendations on how to increase students’
safety behavior. In the following section, we summarize
the reasons to include the above-mentioned possible predictors
of reading and following safety instructions in our model and we
formulate the research hypotheses.
