Sending and receiving status updates, pictures and videos to friends is possible using third-party applications.
Although most applications are still very basic in functionality, there is already Glassware available for major
networks such as Facebook and Twitter . By connecting Glass to an Android or iOS smartphone using Bluetooth, it
is possible to make and receive textmessages and phone calls, transforming Glass into a wireless headset. Since the
Mirror API is based upon RESTful services, a possible application is exchanging resources such as text and graphics
during phonecalls.
