The expected frequency (E) is calculated by adding all the observed frequency (0) and dividing by the number of

Decision Rule: If the calculated chi-square value (X2
) is greater than or equal to the table value at 0.05 level of
significance, the alternate hypothesis (H1) is accepted, but if the calculated chi-square value is less than the table
value, the null hypothesis (H0) is accepted.
