IntroductionCopper has been widely used in livestock and poultry [1,2]. Highlevels of copper improve the growth of animals and their foodutilization. As inorganic copper has low utilization and results inenvironmental pollution, sources of copper with a high utilizationefficiency and low pollution have now replaced traditional cop-per sources as feed additives. Although trace element additives atthe nano scale have not yet been used in feed production, there isreason to believe that this new generation of additives has broadmarket potential. Studies show that compared with the traditionalsources of copper, nano copper oxide (nano CuO) is more efficientin promoting animal growth and immunity [3]. Furthermore, the∗
