MARION – A Marion man accused of shooting his neighbor received a total sentence of 10 years and eight months in prison on Monday after he pleaded guilty to a charge of felonious assault.
Michael S.C. Slocum, 27, pleaded in Marion County Common Pleas Court to the lesser charge as part of a plea agreement after he was indicted on one count of attempted murder, two counts of felonious assault, four counts of aggravated burglary and two counts of having weapons under disability.
