Specimens were compacted with the assistance of a vibration table. After 24 h, the specimens were demoulded and cured in air till testing commenced.
Following ASTM C 348, the specimen 28-day flexural strength was measured by three-point bending testing, where a supporting span of 100 mm and a loading rate of 0.5 mm/min were used.
Three specimens, as a group, were tested for obtaining the average flexural strength along with standard deviation.
