Plants with full nutrient solution showed the highest concentration of nitrogen
(0.88%), phosphorus (0.08%), potassium (4.98%), sulfur (2.01%) and iron (0.04%) on
stems than plants with nutrient solution without an element (Table 3). Leaves had higher
concentration of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur and iron than stems, because of
high metabolic activity in leaves (Castellanos et al., 2000; Cadhía, 2005).
