The Weather Maker we've been tracking is here bringing mainly rain showers this afternoon and tonight but accumulating snow to the far northwestern counties. There is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 9 pm for Langlade, Forest, and Florence counties as well as counties north and west of those; 2 to 4 inches of snow accumulation is expected in these spots.
Tonight rain showers continue this evening for the rest of us, and the precipitation should come to an end before it has a chance to change to snow at all. We'll see cloudy skies for the rest of tonight after the showers end. Lows drop to 34 degrees.
Thanksgiving Day will be dry but overcast with a high reaching 41 degrees, which is a pretty typical high for this time of year. If you're running in this year's "Turkey Trot" it'll be a cool and quiet morning with an 8 am temperature of 35 degrees and cloudy skies. Winds will be out of the west-northwest at 5 to 10 mph.
Friday expect a few morning flurries, we'll see just cloudy skies the rest of the day. Highs will be near 40.
Saturday will be partly cloudy with a high of 40.
Sunday will be partly cloudy and milder with of 45 degrees.
Our next chance for organize precipitation comes Monday with rain showers underneath cloudy skies. Highs push into the upper 40s.
