Decrease of L* value was significantly
affected by increased fruit weight loss and was probably related to
the high relative humidity within the packages. Fruit packaged in
MAP2 had higher L* values than fruit packaged in MAP1 or control
after 210 days of cold storage and plus 3 days at 20 C. After keeping
the pomegranates for 3 days at room temperature following
210 days of cold storage, pomegranates treated with MAP1 and
MAP2 looked brighter and fresher than those of the control fruit
