As shown in fig. 1, for machining a square shaped
cavity in the workpiece using a square electrode, the
electrode centre (represented by black dot) is displaced
within a square contour using a vector. This vector
randomly changes the magnitude and angle in the given
XY (Z) plane in order to generate a stochastic movement
of the electrode. The rate of change in vector magnitude
and angle is influenced by a parameter defining how
many times the defined contour is completed per minute.
