According to Sirgy et al. (2001), organization provides resources to employees- financial and non-financial, and these resources serve to satisfy various needs (such as economic, health and safety, social, and esteem needs) of employees. Further, satisfaction with work life domain spillover to other life domains and thus influence overall life satisfaction and psychological well-being of employees. In addition, research also indicates that satisfaction of employees’ needs, such as growth and development need, safety need, social need, and recognition need positively influence their health and psychological well-being (Grawitch et al. 2006, Grawitch et al. 2007).
