This paper has introduced and developed a high gain DCDC
boost converter with coupled inductor and voltage
multiplier. This paper has the merits of high efficiency, energy
security, reliability, pollution free, and has a quiet operation.
This high efficiency converter topology provides power
conversion for satisfying high voltage demands, which offers
high voltage gain and high efficiency of 89.1% for reduced
duty cycle, and thereby used for High Voltage LED’s.
Furthermore, the voltage stress of the switch is greatly
reduced due to the function of the coupled inductors, which
makes low-voltage-rated MOSFET’s with low RDS-ON
available to reduce the switching losses and improve the
circuit performance. Also, the proposed high gain DC-DC
Boost converter was analyzed with MPPT using P&O and
INC algorithms to track the maximum power from TEG
module. The results obtained from the above algorithms have
proved that the Incremental conductance algorithm has
produced excellent results by comparing to that of the Perturb
and observe algorithm.
