Equipment Setup
The lab was equipped with two computers connected to the eye tracker (SensoMotorics Instruments iViewX Hispeed 1250 Hz). The experiment was built up and run in E-prime, and presented on a 1900 screen, 670 mm in front of the subject. Prior to each experimental session, the apparatus was calibrated. The participants were positioned behind the apparatus and rested their chin on a chin rest (see Figure 1). A fixation cross mark turned up in different corners of the screen, while the participants held their gaze on the cross, the x and y coordinates of the eye position were registered. After calibration, photos with a resolution of 10246768 pixels and colour mode of 24 bits were presented for 10 seconds each.
