The present case study is a follow up of a previous research proposal, in which an idea of combining the educational approaches of GBL and CLIL as a basis for foreign language learning was described (Dourda et al, 2012). GBL, which supports and facilitates the learning process in a more comfortable environment, and CLIL, which is believed to help students improve specific language terminology by centering on meaning, were effectively implemented in the context of the present case study (Anderson et al, 2008; Dalton-Puffer and Smit, 2007). In this paper, the results of the study on language learning aspects such as vocabulary and reading skills as well as the learning strategies, followed by the students, are presented.
