Motivating students is a
whole other issue that hinders teaching. This study proved the fact that watching discipline specific movies to teach
the target terminology works. Movies are interesting, catchy and there is no need for motivating the students since
the students are already motivated to watch a movie in the classroom. The experimental group outperformed the
control group and the students looked very happy and motivated during the treatment. The movie that the control
group watched to learn the terminology was also laden with amazing variety of grammatical structures,
pronunciation and intonation samples along with many other vocabulary items. The students were exposed to a rich
language environment during the treatment. The students also remembered hundreds of other vocabulary items,
grammatical structures they already know.
