Crushing of thesevarieties results in production of soybean meal (SBM) that has the characteristics of the parent soybeans. Thus, the crudeprotein (CP) concentrations in high protein SBM (SBM-HP) is greater than in conventional SBM (SBM-CV), but the coefficientof ileal standardized digestibility (CISD) for AA in SBM-HP is not different from the CISD of AA in SBM-CV, if the meals arefed to growing pigs (Baker and Stein, 2009).
