Working as a Ground Service at Bangkok Airway, Chiang Mai International Airport gave me a big opportunity to learn about passenger service of the popular airline and to learn about real working in airline job. I felt very pleasure all the time when I working with professionals staff. They advise on work and taught me to learn to handle various situations. This practicum was very interesting which gave me a lot of new experience. I use my English skills with are speaking, listening, writing and reading to adapt with responsibility such as guiding passengers to pick up their baggage at baggage claim, checking boarding pass and passport at the boarding gate, guiding passenger to boarding at the aircraft, dealing with passengers who have problem, preparing the documents before and after the flights departure. Which all of these experiences made me be more confident, team-player and patient person that can work with the professional team and working under pressure as well.
I would like to suggest next generation student who are going to do Business Language Practicum and who would like to train in the real workplace or succeed in academic study and your future careers; if you love service job or business airline, Bangkok Airways can teach and give you of new knowledge that will be an experience that you can apply it in real situations. Successful completion of the practicum is essential for employment.
After finish doing practicum at Bangkok Airways for 3 months, it was such a short time but I felt this was a valuable course, I hope that the experience from my practicum will be benefit for my job in the future. I had an opportunity to improve my skill to achieve to be a professional in my work.
