5. Correct mistakes on your BRP
Length or conditions of leave
You may be able apply for an administrative review if you think that there is a mistake in the length or conditions of your leave.
You have to pay £80 and apply within 14 days of receiving your BRP. You’ll get the £80 refunded if there was an mistake and you’re given a new BRP with the right amount of leave.
For all other applications (including if you’ve applied from overseas), you must report mistakes with the length or conditions of your leave within 10 working days of receiving your BRP to BRPError@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk.
Include the following in your email:
your full name, date of birth and nationality
your passport number
your BRP reference number
your case reference number
a contact telephone number
details of exactly what information is wrong
Personal information
You must report any mistakes with the following information to BRPError@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk within 10 working days of receiving your BRP:
name, date of birth or nationality
gender
place of birth
You may have to reapply and pay for a replacement if you don’t report the errors.

Update your personal details
You must report changes to your address, personal details or circumstances.
