Position: Pool & Recreation Manager
Property: Surfcomber - South Beach

Position Summary:
Required Skills & Experience:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prior supervisory/management/leadership experience is a must. Will oversee pool concierge, pool servers and bartenders. Able to multi-task, manage a team, execute events and activities.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 1 year Food and Beverage experience. Minimum 2 years in customer service, RESORT, pool, recreation management related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Hospitality degree is preferred. Knowledge of computer operating systems, Aloha, Excel, Epitome.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Position requires excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate clearly in both written and verbal fashion. Multi-lingual is preferred.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Able to manage problems in guest related/safety situations.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Must be able to speak English to communicate with guests. Must be able to recognize situations which may involve guests that require immediate supervisory attention. Must know and use reasonable care for the safety and security of the guests. First Aid and CPR Certification is required.
