Real Numbers are a collection of Rational and Irrational Numbers.
- Rational Numbers are those which can be expressed as p by q where p and q are integers and q is not equal to zero.
- Irrational Numbers are those which are NOT rational numbers, i.e, cannot be expressed as p by q where p and q are integers and q is non-zero.
The real numbers are represented by the Number Line where each point correspond to a real number and vice versa
Any real number can be expressed in scientific notation as a times 10 to the power b where a is a real number and b is any integer.
