to be coninued ** Update **
I'm headed back to Bangkok, Jomtien Beach in September.
So a few years back my life consisted of working too-long hours, watching some TV, going to bed, then repeating it all the next day. After my 3rd executive meeting, I went to the closest Barnes & Noble I could find, picked Ecuador out of a map book, and got on the first flight out of New York.
Half-measures? Not my thing...
That's how life's been ever since for me. I no longer own a TV since I just don't have room in my life for time sinks. Instead, I'll pick a city off a list, grab some friends, and check it out for the weekend. I'm the guy who takes the rickety bus from one city to another in Colombia just to meet more locals and have a more authentic experience. I'm headed back to Thailand (Bangkok,Jomtien Beach) in September and London in November.
I grew up on the East coast, so it's good to be back, if nothing else – for the fresh seafood (missed that in the Midwest, and in South America) and the skiing in Vermont. Plus, I'm from a very close-knit Italian family; they like having me back too, especially my niece.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit is I'm a terrible dancer, seriously. But I'm inexplicably drawn to performing activities I'm bad at, and dancing's no exception. They got a kick out of my failed attempts to salsa in Ecuador. I'm always up for adventure and dancing is no exception.
