The solid waste generated during the construction period are refuse from construction material, e.g., wood, scrap metal, broken bricks, etc., including the domestic waste from the labor camp. The rubbish of construction materials will be collected for sale. For the domestic waste, the total of 200 workers will produce about 0.35 m3/day of solid waste (the assumption of waste generation rate is 0.85 kg/person-day and waste density about 480 kg/m3). This solid waste will be managed by a contractor (wet garbage will be buried to produce fertilizer and dry garbage will be burnt within the project area). Therefore, the solid waste will not contribute any impacts to project vicinities. The impact of solid waste can be defined as insignificant.
