The total viable bacteria and total viable fungi
prevalence levels identified in the air from inside and
outside the passenger cars and public buses were
determined for two seasons (winter and summer),
although detailed data are not presented in this
paper. Regardless of the agar type, the total bacteria
and total fungi detected in most samples had a
prevalence level range of 90–100%. The four most
prevalent fungal genera detected on the DG-18 and
MEA agars were Cladosporium, Penicillium, Aspergillus,
and Alternaria (Table 2).
