To ensure the success of children’s programs, such as CODIP, in court-connected settings,
judicial support and advocacy are essential. Collaborations between the courts and
community providers have powerful potential to increase early outreach to separating parents
and to provide timely preventive interventions. Training and technical assistance are
available to any group interested in adapting CODIP for their community by contacting the
