i really enjoyed my stay at the eastin grand. the hotel was beautiful, service was friendly, and overall a nice break from the city hustle. the sathorn neighborhood is relatively up-and-coming as a heavy tourist area but it was nice to feel like there was some breathing room here.
a few things i especially liked:
1. bts station - the direct pathway from the hotel to the surasak bts station was a much appreciated convenience since it rained heavily for a few days while i was visiting.
2. breakfast - the buffet style breakfast was great. they offered a combination of western style foods like made-to-order omelettes and cereals, as well a variety of asian foods like congee, sushi, and rice noodles.
3. pool - overlooking the city, the pool was a nice place to relax and grab a drink.
