Buddha under Naga imges were very popular. Some of them can be compared to the Khmer Baphuon style of 11 century. The low curved upper border of the undergarment is on the abdomen. Some are typical of the Bayon style of the 12 century. The face is usually square with a small band dividing the hair from the forehead. The haircurls are large. The cranial protuberance is modified into rows of lotus petals, topped by a halo in the form of a lotus bud or a gem.
