Principle 3. (Subjective experience). Individuals who
experience subjective reactions at the time they process
information are likely to use these reactions as a basis for
judgments or decisions independently of the 280 information
that gave rise to them. Feelings that individuals 281 happen
to be experiencing for reasons that are objectively 282
irrelevant to an object they are considering can be misattributed
283 to this object and, therefore, have an impact on
judgments or 284 decisions that concern it.
