The second week of learning English efficiently
In the second week of learning by myself, after studying the theory of grammar, covering the wide ranges of topic, I turn to practice the part of exercise. The exercise we have to complete must be relevant to each grammar topic. It is arranged respectively as following-type of sentence, noun, verb, tenses, auxiliary verb, and phrasal verb.
First, I begin to complete the exercise for each topic I read and study earlier. When the exercises are all completed, I have them checked by comparing with the answer at the appendix and then rate the scores to evaluate my understanding. If the fault answers are found, I will try to find out the reason and solution. The processes in the first two week intend to focus on the theory of grammar to get insight into the essence of English language as the learning styles of Thai students.
Next, after that, I start to practice pronunciation, regardless of the native accents. Again, I practice one set of exercise for each topic per day by speaking as naturally as possible. Those exercises are pronounced as if the teacher used to tell me to read English before the first class in every morning.
Finally, I create and build the new sentence, relating to my daily life or the sentence that I like to write about myself or my daily situation. All of the new created sentences must be based on the true grammar for each topic. Also, I never forget to practice pronouncing those sentences. The more I practice pronunciation, the more I can memorize English daily sentences.
