There were no marked differences in the sphericity
values between the Sazandegi and Sorkheh cultivars. The
sphericity of Sorkheh and Sazandegi cultivars were
observed in the range of 37–46% and 37–43%, respectively.
The sphericity values of raw rough rice fall within
the range of 0.32–1 reported by Mohsenin (1986) for most
agricultural materials. The results for sphericity agreed
with this suggestion. The volume and surface area values
showed significant differences between the cultivars at the
5% level of accuracy
