Regular review of these processes is advised to ensure compliance
with the standards and nationally the need for evidence of
audit of clinical documentation is recognised,8 however variations
in radiology NG tube reporting have been identified internationally.9,10
This article evaluates the radiology process for review of NG
tubes within a multicentre NHS Trust over a six-month period and
aims to identify areas of good practice or development.
