All company units of Siemens AG and its Affiliated Companies´ worldwide are obliged to take suitable measures to protect the company´s tangible and intangible assets against intentional misuse, damage and loss by Siemens employees and/or third parties. In order to be able to define necessary risk mitigation measures, the registration and reporting of such cases is essential. As stipulated in LC CO Circular No. 226 “Global Compliance”, it is the responsibility of the CFOs to ensure that all intentional damages to tangible or intangible assets are accurately and completely registered in the TreuInfo tool.
The Compliance Organization is responsible for the further handling of these cases as soon as those damages are reported. Please continue to make sure that all employees in charge of registering such cases are fully aware of their duties and the necessity of timely and complete execution thereof.
