In addition to input from a parent focus group, a survey was
mailed to each parent; surveys were returned to the university
for analysis. The survey asked parents to give the school an overall
The availability of technology and equipment received the lowest
mean grade. On the other items rated (18 items), the ratings were
grade B or better. Only six of the responding parents indicated
that they were not planning to return the following year; three of
them were moving from the geographic area. In summary, based
on the criteria utilized to assess parent satisfaction (items on survey)
the parents’ responses to the third research question, ‘‘What are the
criteria and outcomes of a successful partnership?’’ were overwhelmingly
positive.
