3.5. Production of ethanol by isolated yeasts through SHF

Evaluation of ethanol production is necessary to quantify the
process’ final performance. In this study; the hydrolysates that
resulted from the saccharification of bagasse by T. viride F-94
and A. terreus F-98 were used for fermentation by yeast isolates C. tropicalis Y-26 and S. cerevisiae Y-39 to produce ethanol (Table 4).
