The second question was focused on seeking that ABL could help students
understand the lesson and be able to use the knowledge in real life situation. According to
the study of Havard University (2009), they enhance students’ academic learning and
sense of civic responsibility through real world experience through ABL method. The
result of this study showed that ABL methods could encourage the students to understand
and positively affect the world around them, and the students found ABL method made the
course more interesting
