The purposes of this research to examine the conformity of the model with the causal factors that have generated empirical information and study the factors that influence, both direct and indirect effect to persistent effort to learn of hill-tribe student grade 6 of school in Office of Chiang Rai education services area 2. samples used in research as hill-tribe student grade 6 at a school affiliated with Office of Chiang Rai education services area 2 during 2013 academic year, number of student 384 people from 14 schools, were selected by the multi-stage random sampling technique, and hill-tribe student live in Mae Suai District, mae Laos district and wiang PA Pao district. The instruments used for collection data included questionnaires concerning persistent effort to learn and a series of constructed questionnaire is factors that influence persistent effort to learn which consist of Achievement Motive, Goal Setting in The Future, Self esteem, Internal locus of control, Social support, Support from family, Learning and teaching, Classroom atmosphere and School environment, in which there are reliabilities values equal 0.9033 0.1827 0.8140 0.6753 0.8250 0.6915 0.8391 0.8310 0.6887 and 0.7859 respectively.
