A comparison of the R2, HYBRID and SSE values between the two models presented in Table 5, shows that the Freundlich model is the best fit model for the adsorption isotherm data at all the temperature ranges studied suggesting multilayer adsorption between the bentazon molecules and SFHAC surface. This also suggests the heterogeneous nature of the SFHAC involving physisorption. The Freundlich KF value increases from 15.67 to 23.80 with increasing
temperature from 30 to 50 C. The higher n values also suggest that bentazon adsorption on SFHAC is favorable. On the other hand monolayer maximum adsorption capacity (Qm) determined from the Langmuir model was 166.67 mg/g that was same for all the temperatures ranges studied.
