With regards to the global marine cargo insurance, my thoughts are as below :
a) cross border - this is inclusive in conveyance clause as it mentioned all modes of transportation for shipment from source to named destination.
b) deductibles - to include DAT, DAP, DDP to current CIF / CIP term. On this, my advise is that if Thai need coverage for this, u may want to consider additional local coverage. To have this included in worldwide policy will mean additional premium for the the company (as a group), as these term are no so commonly used by other sites (volume of transactions vs premium) and also deductibles are normally set up to avoid handling of too many small claims. Alternatively is to have agreement with customer which party to take up the insurance for the shipment.
